Peter Townsend (drummer)

Peter Townsend is an American drummer, session player and touring musician from Louisville, Kentucky now living in Nashville, Tennessee. He has recorded and performed with Will Oldham in the bands Palace, Superwolf and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, sharing live percussion duties with Jim White on the Beware tour in the summer of 2009.^[1]. In 2011 he shared drumming/percussion duties with Kenny Malone^[2] on the recordings for the Anna Ternheim record The Night Visitor. He has also been featured on recordings and tours with King Kong, Nathan Bell, Human Bell, Nicolai Dunger, David Pajo, Brightblack Morning Light and many others.
